These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of norori.com (the “Site”) operated by Norori Studio (“I,” “me,” “my”). By accessing or using the Site and Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope and Application
These Terms apply to all orders placed through my WooCommerce-based online store. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as my Privacy Policy and Impressum.
3. Products and Services
3.1 Print-on-Demand Products
All products sold on norori.com are printed on demand through my production partner, Gelato. This means:
- Products are manufactured only after an order is placed and payment is received
- Production begins immediately upon order confirmation
- Each item is custom-made specifically for your order
- Products are personalized and made specifically for each individual order
- Production and fulfillment are handled by Gelato’s global production network
3.2 Product Descriptions
I strive to ensure all product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate. However, slight variations in color may occur due to different monitor settings and the printing process.
3.3 Color Variations
Printing is a chemical process and 100% color consistency cannot be achieved. Multiple factors influence the color, consistency, and final result, including:
- Machine type and settings
- Paper types
- Humidity in the production facility
- Machine maintenance schedules
Color variations that may occur due to these factors lie within acceptable tolerance levels and are not considered defects.
4. Ordering Process
4.1 Order Placement
When you place an order, you make a binding offer to purchase the products in your shopping cart. I will send you an order confirmation by email, which constitutes my acceptance of your offer.
4.2 Contract Formation
A binding purchase contract is formed when you receive the order confirmation email.
4.3 Order Verification
I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at my discretion, including but not limited to:
- Product unavailability
- Errors in pricing or product information
- Suspected fraudulent transactions
- Orders that cannot be fulfilled
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Prices
- All prices are listed in Euro (EUR) and include German VAT (Value Added Tax) at the applicable rate
- Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed
- Shipping costs are calculated separately and shown before checkout completion
5.2 Payment Methods
I accept payments through PayPal and WooCommerce. Payment must be received in full before production begins.
5.3 Payment Terms
- Payment is due immediately upon order placement
- Production will only begin after successful payment confirmation
- You are responsible for any fees charged by your payment provider
6. Shipping and Delivery
6.1 Delivery Times
Orders are fulfilled by Gelato through their global production network. Estimated delivery times vary based on:
- Production time
- Shipping destination
- Selected shipping method
These are estimates only and not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays may occur due to factors beyond my control.
6.2 Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary based on destination and order size. All shipping costs will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
6.3 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
6.4 Delivery Issues
If you do not receive your order within the estimated timeframe, please contact me through the Contact Form within 30 days of your order date.
7. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) – Important Notice
7.1 Exclusion of Withdrawal Right for Custom-Made Products
Due to the print-on-demand nature of my products, your statutory right of withdrawal is EXCLUDED pursuant to § 312g paragraph 2 No. 1 BGB in conjunction with Article 16(c) of the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
All products are custom-made and personalized according to your specifications and are not suitable for return. Production begins immediately after your order is placed and cannot be stopped or reversed.
This means: NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS are permitted for any reason other than manufacturing defects, damage, or errors attributable to production or fulfillment.
7.2 Acknowledgment
By placing an order, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- You waive your right of withdrawal
- Your order is for custom-made goods manufactured to your specifications
- Production begins immediately and cannot be cancelled
- Refunds and returns are not available except as specified in Section 8
8. Quality Guarantee, Defects, and Warranty
8.1 Quality Guarantee
I want you to be satisfied with the quality of the products you order. This quality guarantee is provided in accordance with Gelato’s quality standards for all orders fulfilled through their production network.
If you are not satisfied with the quality of a product, please contact me through the Contact Form within 30 days of receiving the item, and I will do everything I can to investigate and find a solution.
8.2 What Is Covered
If my quality assurance review (in coordination with Gelato’s quality assurance team) validates your claim, I will arrange for one of the following solutions:
Option 1: Replacement Order (Preferred)
I will send a complimentary replacement order to you as quickly as possible. This is the preferred solution to ensure you are satisfied with your order.
Option 2: Refund
If a replacement order is not feasible, or you cannot wait for a new order to arrive, please indicate this when you contact me, and I will issue a refund.
Coverage includes:
- Defective or damaged products: Damage to the delivered products caused during production or shipping
- Incorrect orders: Errors in the number or quantity of delivered products
- Quality issues: Lack of quality of the delivered product not caused by content provided by you
- Lost orders: Packages lost in transit (must be reported within 30 days from the estimated delivery date)
8.3 Color Consistency
As noted in Section 3.3, printing is a chemical process and absolute color consistency cannot be achieved. Color variations that occur due to machine type, settings, paper types, environmental factors, or machine maintenance lie within acceptable tolerance levels and are not covered under the quality guarantee.
8.4 Reporting Issues
To report a quality issue, manufacturing defect, or delivery problem, you must:
- Contact me through the Contact Form within 30 days of receiving your order (or within 30 days of the estimated delivery date for lost orders)
- Provide your order number
- Include clear photographs showing the defect or damage
- Describe the issue in detail
8.5 Review Process
Upon receiving your claim, I will:
- Review the photographs and description provided
- Coordinate with Gelato’s quality assurance team if necessary
- Respond within a reasonable timeframe
- Request additional information if needed
- Approve replacement or refund if the claim is validated
8.6 Return Policy – No Returns Accepted
Gelato does not support returns or provide a return address because all products are personalized and made specifically for each order.
As such, I do not accept returns of products except in the cases of validated quality issues as described in Section 8.2. In cases where a replacement or refund is approved, you will not be required to return the defective item unless specifically requested.
8.7 Orders Returned to Sender
Orders may be returned to the sender for the following reasons:
1. Wrong Address
If you provide an address considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned and disposed of safely. Should you want to submit a new order with an updated address, you will be liable for the full costs of the new order.
2. Rejected by the Recipient
If you reject the shipment during delivery, the shipment will be returned and disposed of safely. Should you want to submit a new order, you will be liable for the full costs of the new order.
3. Unclaimed
If you are not able to receive your order at the provided address, the shipment may be available for pick-up at your local post office or carrier pick-up point. Shipments that go unclaimed may be returned to the sender.
For unclaimed orders, please:
- Place a new order within 30 days from the estimated delivery date
- Contact me through the [Contact Form] so I can arrange for the product price to be refunded for the new order
- Note: You will still be responsible for paying the shipping costs for the new order
8.8 What Is NOT Covered
The following are NOT considered manufacturing defects or quality issues:
- Minor color variations due to monitor settings or printing processes as described in Section 3.3
- Change of mind or buyer’s remorse
- Incorrect size, color, or product selected by the customer during ordering
- Damage caused by improper use or care after delivery
- Issues caused by content or designs provided by you
- Orders returned to sender due to wrong address or rejection by recipient
8.9 Statutory Warranty Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory warranty rights under German law (§§ 437 ff. BGB). The statutory limitation period for defects is two years from delivery.
9. Liability and Limitation
9.1 Unlimited Liability
I am fully liable without limitation for:
- Damages caused by intentional acts or gross negligence by me or my representatives
- Damages to life, body, or health
- Claims under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz)
- Damages resulting from the breach of guarantees provided by me
9.2 Limited Liability
For slight negligent breaches of material contractual obligations (Kardinalpflichten), my liability is limited to foreseeable, typically occurring damages.
9.3 Exclusion of Liability
Beyond the cases mentioned above, my liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9.4 Third-Party Service Providers
Orders are fulfilled by Gelato, a third-party production and fulfillment partner. While I work to ensure quality service, I am not liable for issues arising from Gelato’s production processes beyond what is covered in the quality guarantee outlined in Section 8.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 My Content
All content on the Site, including designs, images, text, logos, and graphics, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without my express written permission.
10.2 Customer-Uploaded Content
If I offer custom printing services where you upload your own designs:
- You warrant that you own or have the right to use all uploaded content
- You grant me a license to reproduce your content solely for fulfilling your order
- You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights
- You indemnify me against any claims arising from your uploaded content
11. Data Protection
Your personal data is processed in accordance with my Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please refer to my Privacy Policy for detailed information.
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution, available at: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
12.2 Consumer Arbitration
I am not obliged or willing to participate in dispute resolution procedures before a consumer arbitration board.
12.3 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer and have your habitual residence in another EU country, you also enjoy protection under the mandatory provisions of consumer protection laws in that country.
12.4 Jurisdiction
If you are a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Hamburg, Germany.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the economic intent of the original provision.
14. Changes to Terms
I reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date at the top. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Changes do not apply to orders already placed.
